
Darlene Jane Miller, 71, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday November 7, 2016. She was born on August 13,1945 in Chatham, Ontario to a Delaware mother, Flossie J. Huff Clark and a Chippewa father, John Winfield Clark, who have both preceded her in death. Darlene was a devoted mother to her two sons bravely faced the challenge of Huntington’s disease as well as her own medical issues always maintaining a deep abiding faith and love of God.
She was active in the LDS church for many years serving as primary president. Darlene was proud of her family's heritage and was an accomplished artist, having work displayed through the National Museum of the American Indian. She was a member of the Moravian Thames Delaware Band Turtle Clan. She completed master’s degree in computer animated design.
She is survived by her grandson Anderson Keener; sister Marlene Clark; Brother Wayne Clark; ex-husband Jerry Miller; step daughters Cheryl and Melinda and extended family. She is preceded in death by her brother Donald Clark; sister Arlene Jarmon and sons Terry and Todd Keener.
Funeral services will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 N. Wells St. on Friday November 18, 2016 at 11am with calling 1 hour prior. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
