David Edward Servos, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025. Dave was born October 5, 1939, to the late Frank Edward and Vesta (Nichols) Servos. He was a graduate of New Haven High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Urbana University. He served our country in the United States Air Force and was a Master Mason member of the Summit City Masonic Lodge No. 170, the Scottish Rite, and the Mizpah Shrine. Dave retired from Navistar International after 50 years of service. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, was accomplished in the martial arts, and was a former private pilot. He is survived by his children, Natalie (Bryant) Tutterow, Nathan (Lauren) Servos, and Nolan Servos; six grandchildren, Nevan, Morgan, Jenna, Mary, Anna and Lily; his brother, R. Daniel (Virginia Nixon) Servos and two sisters, Nellwyn (Thomas) Hakes and Nancy (James) Nyffeler and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. A gathering to honor and remember Dave will begin at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Riley Children’s Foundation at RileyKids.org.
