This picture didn't post, so I'm trying again lol I remember him always doing this pose with his camera when others would take a picture of him. I even noticed Lorie posted her own picture of him doing exactly this lol

He would always do this pose with his camera when someone was taking pictures hahaha I remember him doing this all the time and noticed Lorie even posted one lol he was so goofy.

Uncle Donald and Dad, always down to travel and see the world.

I remember so many get-togethers at Uncle Donalds and we would all hang out in the basement and the adults played pool. So many great memories.

Every time we stayed at Uncle Donalds as kids, we would always slide down these stairs lol 

One of my favorite memories of you Uncle Donald. We all worked so hard on these 'snow girls' (they represented us twins and Crystal) and everyone was just so amazed with it. People were driving down the street, stopping and taking pictures. You were always so full of life, adventurous, silly and fun. I'll never forget you. I love you so much.

Not only are we all in the same place at the same time, but we are in our birth order!

Blessed to gather with all of our brothers and sisters all in one place.

My brother visited me in Oklahoma numerous times and we were blessed to have him there for the birth of his niece, Kyla. Very thankful to have him by my side when his niece, Heather, was in a car accident and he delighted us all with a mammoth bear that brought her much joy. 

Thanks for making my mom so happy. She loved sharing your visits with me. Most recently, as she reminisced, showing me adorable pictures of you and your siblings as children, I loved hearing about how ornery you were as a child, your favorite toys, and how you were quite the challenge to keep corralled; which didn’t surprise me, knowing how adventurous you were as an adult.  I’m so thankful you all had each other growing up, and now; as they say goodbye for now, to their spirited little brother who wasn’t supposed to go first…but then again, sounds like you’ve always been full of surprises. Praying you’re back in the arms of your loving mother, who also, left us all too soon. 

Thanks for making Aunt Brenda so happy. It was wonderful feeling the joy when we were all together.

My uncle loved his family and he made it a point to show up to family functions, whether they were close or far. He came to all my birthdays, graduations, my state band competitions in Indy, took me to California to see Aunt Brenda, we went on bike rides, to Komet Hockey games, out for a bite to eat at Halls, to Cedar Point, the lake; and it was a delight to see him walk through the door,  when I was feeling alone and homesick, while I was hospitalized at the  Cleveland Clinic for 5 days when I had panreas surgery.  He loved to travel and take pictures of his adventures; and upon his return, he couldn’t wait to share every last detail while proudly wearing his souvenir T-shirt. He had a competitive nature and loved his sports, playing or spectating; and he will be missed at the next family get together playing volleyball, horseshoes or softball. I will forever cherish the gold locket crucifix necklace he got me for my 16th birthday. I will miss his pop-up, unannounced visits, our hours of catching up and sharing my kids pictures/events with him. I’ll miss calling him on his birthday and reading his neatly written Christmas Card with his picture perfect handwriting and signature…”Love Always, Uncle Donald.” With a thankful and grateful heart, back at you Uncle D, Love Always, Lorie.

My brother thank you very much for our wonderful conversations. I will miss you.😢
