Donald W. "Don" Eisenacher, 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1943, in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Alfred and Clemma (Tannehill) Eisenacher. He graduated from South Side High School. He worked for more than 40 years at International Harvester (Navistar) as a tool & die machinist. He was a long-time member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He served five years as Staff Sergeant in the US Army Reserve. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, swimming, and other outdoor activities. Don's biggest passion, though, was spending time with his wife and family. Surviving family include his wife, Nancy Eisenacher; daughter, Lori Motz; son, Matt (Erica) Eisenacher; grandchildren, Emily and Austin Motz, and Lainey and Aiden Eisenacher; and brother, David Eisenacher. He was also preceded in passing by his sister, Carol Brouwer. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington Boulevard, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or the American Alzheimer's Association. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
