Donald P. "Duck" Miller, age 65, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born February 26, 1958 in Compton, California to the late Paul and Bonnie Miller. Duck proudly served our Nation as a Sergeant for the United States Army Rangers, 5th Special Forces Group Airborne . Following the service, he earned his degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Notre Dame. He was an adventurous soul and loved spending time outdoors, playing golf, watching racing (especially NASCAR) but cherished his time with family the most.
Duck is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Margaret "Peggy" Miller; step-children, Michelle Coyer and Nickolaus Carboni; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paula (Clyde) Crow, Michael Miller, Chryal (Mike) Clark. He was predeceased by his sister, Laura Miller.
Celebration of Life is 6:00 PM Friday, May 19, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Mungovan Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Ind. with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
