Donald J. Schneider

DONALD J. SCHNEIDER, 88, passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015, at his residence. Born Jan. 2, 1927, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late John Schneider and Hilda Fahlsing Schneider. Donald was employed by Magnavox for over 30 years. He also enjoyed farming on the family farm. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon (John) Hille of Fort Wayne; son, Thomas (Debra) Schneider of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and 12 step-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary; son, Steve; stepgrandchildren, Desi Cohee and Shannon Squire; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Lois Springer. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., where friends may call from 11:30 until service time.
