Donna Marie Scheumann, age 84, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker, businesswoman, flower and vegetable gardener, event organizer, traveler, long time cancer survivor and was well loved by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, her brother Jim Meyers, and sisters Jean Buuck and Carolyn Miller. Her brother Duke (Paul) Meyer survives. She is also survived by her daughter Cindy (Bob) Widmaier, and sons Tom (Karen) Scheumann, Matt (Cindy) Scheumann, and Joe (Lisa) Scheumann, twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her kind, generous nature, creativity, strength and toughness will be greatly missed by all. Services will be Friday 11 A.M., August 14, 2015, at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road Chapel, where friends may call from 9 A.M. until service time. Preferred memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Mercy Ships.
