Donna J. Straub, 80, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at her home. Donna was born October 22, 1944, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter to the late Gilbert R. and Mary E. Lechleitner. She worked as Executive Director for many different animal welfare organizations, including organizations in Indiana, Florida, New Mexico, and Colorado. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Straub, and Rick Straub; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and brother, Dave Lechleitner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. C. Straub; daughter, Kathy Mildred; brother, James; and sister, Carol.
