Earl Dwane Counterman

Earl D. "Hank" Counterman, age 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born June 15, 1930 in Wells County to the late Samuel and Esther (née Johnson) Counterman.

Hank answered the call of duty, serving in the United States Army during the Korean War conflict.

He retired from Foamex in 1995.

Hank is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Counterman of Decatur, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Counterman; brothers, Robert Counterman, Paul Counterman, and Victor Counterman; and sisters, Gloria Krick and Elaine Lough.
