Edward Allen Hill

He married his wife, Janet E. (Thomsen) Hill, on September 10, 1966, in Moline, Illinois. Ed graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a Masters of Electrical Engineering. They moved to Fort Wayne in 1967, where Ed worked at Magnavox Electronic System Company and later retired in 2006.

Ed enjoyed snow skiing, camping, hunting, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed computers, photography and always had the latest technology. He was in computer clubs and was the Chief of Indian Guides for his sons. Ed loved traveling with his wife, Jan and they visited 37 different countries.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Janet E. Hill; children, Chris (Carolyn) Hill, Travis M. Hill, Tammy (Andy) Nash, Corey (Courtney Templeton) Hill; sister, Linda (Roy) Lucke; grandchildren, Dylan Hill, Josh Hill, Derek Nash, Tyson Nash.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Jean Hill.

Visitation will be at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes- Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46804, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes- Covington Knolls, at 1:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
