Emma Clara Wermager

Emma Clara Wermager, age 94 passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Emma was born May 10, 1927, in Eldred, MN. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Gertrude (DeJong) Andringa. Emma started working at Farnsworth's in 1953 which later became ITT, where she retired after 41 years working as a light assembler. She is survived by her children, Ken (Ruth) Wermager of Sun City, Arizona, Janice Branam of Fort Wayne, Karen (Dudley) Colton of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren, Laura (Ken) Harants, Scott Wermager, David Wermager, Jaymi (Shandy) Alverson, William Branam, Vik Gorantla; great grandchildren, Zach Harants, Emily Harants, Nicholas Alverson, Maxton Alverson, Emma Alverson, Aila Gorantla, and Ari Gorantla. She was preceded in death by her son Orlin Wermager in 2006.

A visitation for Emma will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers preferred memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 609 Putnam St., Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
