Gertrude 'Trudy' Elizabeth Thomas, age 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully at Coventry Meadows on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born June 18, 1937 in New Haven, Indiana to the late Charles and Martha Thomas. Trudy loved being a homemaker and was a woman of strong conviction and known for her deep faith, loved gardening and caring for her family and extended family. She is survived by her children, Deborah, Charles, Lisa, Diane, Billy Jo, Michelle, Tina, Waldo, Ralph, and John; thirty grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service is 3:00 pm Thursday, January 12, 2023, Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne with calling beginning at 1:30 PM.
