Gladys Mae (Collins) Drummond, 88, of New Haven, IN, passed away on March 22, 2018 peacefully at home with family. She was a devoted mother of Sheryl Gick and her husband, Paul and Scott Beaver; dearest grandmother of Stacie Janes and her husband, Matt, and Sarah Tackett; loving great-grandmother of Collin, Abbie, Lukas, Danica, Braeden, Evan and Logan; and a caring aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.
She was born on May 15, 1929 to the late Edward and Phyllis Collins. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Esther, June Robbins, and Thelma Forst; brother, Edward “Junior” Collins Jr; son, Steven Swaidner and life partner, Alvin Busche.
Family and friends will honor Gladys’ life at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services (2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm with visitation beginning two hour prior. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington, IN.
