Gregory "Greg" Petras, age 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was born September 2, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Michael and Lois Petras, Jr. Greg proudly served our nation in the United States Army National Guard. Following his service, he founded Maintenance Management until his retirement in 2018.
Greg enjoyed watching action and sci-fi movies as well as television shows, reading, playing Laser Tag and video games, especially 'StarCraft' with his sons, attending concerts including Lollapalooza, Joe Satriani and Joe Bonamassa but cherished the time spent with family the most.
Greg is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carol; sons, Anthony (Stephanie) Petras, and Andrew (Melissa) Petras; granddaughter, Charlie Faye Petras; brother, Michael (Beth) Petras; sister, Barb (Rock) Dasher; and several nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Petras.
Funeral Service is 1 pm, Saturday, October 21, D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road with calling two hours prior.
