So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother.  I met her for the first time a few years ago when my husband and I accompanied Laquetta on a Sunday afternoon visit; she was a delightful lady!  I will keep your family in my prayers as you all continue to live without her physical presence.

To the Weeks Family: We the Matthews Family, are praying that you all lean and trust in GOD, knowing that he is not only a healer but a comforter as well. I ( Lucille Matthews) worked with Hattie, at the Fort Wayne Development Center, as well as bowled with her, and considered her a true friend. Hattie, was always the same, she met no strangers nor did she hold her tongue, telling you, in her way how she felt and she still proceeded to engage you, in laughter and friendship. Our family has been friends for many years her children and ours, so it is with deep sympathy that We
bid her farewell, but with great peace and joy, we "THANK GOD FOR ADDING HER TO HIS BLESSED GARDEN OF ANGELS" May you her family hold onto all the memories you all made together, knowing she is at peace, and she and Willie, are together once again! I worked with Hattie at The Fort Wayne State Development ,and she was always a pleasure to work with, and to be around. Hattie could brighten up anyone and everyone in her presence, she was always upbeat and she did her work, and helped others. I am sure she will be missed but know she and her son (Willie),
are up in heaven,  smiling down on us all, and she is at peace knowing she did a job well done at home, church, work, and especially in the LORD.
