Helen L. Herman 93, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born on April 18, 1928 in Fort Wayne. Helen was a daughter of the late Ray and Laura (Hiller) Mutton. She retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Company after 21 years of service. Helen was a lifetime member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed canning, cooking, square dancing and crossword puzzles. Helen had a passion for telling the best jokes, wintering in Texas, and spending the summer days at the lake house. She is survived by her sons, John (Janet) and Ronald (Andrea) Herman; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in passing was her husband, Donald Herman; and brother, Ray Mutton. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation beginning at 11am. Memorial contributions can be made to the Waynedale United Methodist Church.
