Iva A Croghan, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Croghan was born December 21, 1929 to the late Elmer and Margaret Ake. She was a material handler for the Salvation Army ARC. She was a member of the Salvation Army, and was a Sunbeam Leader for more than 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Croghan; her children, Donna J (Michael) Riehm, Diana K Harrell, Brenda S Zahn, John (Donna) Croghan, Jr. and David (Addie) Croghan; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren and her siblings, Phyllis McDevitt and Helen. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
