I am so sorry to her of Mr. Guthrie's passing, He was my 5th grade teacher. He was a very nice man.

To the dear family of Jack Guthrie!  I walked onto the unit today to find that God had called Jack home!  I burst into tears at the thought of your loss. I want you to know what an honor it was to care for him the short time he was in the unit. I knew he had to be an amazing man to have married and raised such quality individuals! Please know my thoughts and prayers will continue as you cope with his loss. Heaven now holds an angel who will forever watch over all over you!  God bless each and every one of you!

Jack was a wonderful man.  It is a blessing that I was able to know him through The Journey.  Prayers going out to his family.

My dear Guthrie friends, I am so terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and father. I have so many fond memories of the Gines and Guthrie families spending time together - memories that I still hold dear to my heart today. You can be confident and know that your loved one is in a better place and he is always with you in your hearts and in your memories. I can only imagine he is catching up on old times with my parents, Ron and Wanda, and sharing a few laughs over some of the silly things we all did as kids.
