Jacob D. Sanders, 23, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Born in Fort Wayne, Jacob attended Wayne High School and worked as a tire tech with Tire Barn Warehouse. Jacob enjoyed racing go-karts at Baerfield Speedway and loved his animals. Surviving are his father, Darryl Sanders of KY; mother, Krista Omspaugh and father Randy Omspaugh; siblings, Danielle (Josh) Tracey, Joshua (Jessica) Sanders, Britnee Sanders, Mayson Omspaugh, Jesse Omspaugh all of Fort Wayne; step-brother, Brandon Poole of VA; paternal grandparents, Barbara (Joey) Sanders of Fort Wayne; maternal grandparents, Jody (Amy) Dickerson of Roanoke; grandfather, Boyd Smith; great-grandparents, James (Sally) Sowers of Fort Wayne; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jacob was preceded in death by grandmother, Vonda Smith. Service is 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with Pastor Jerry Westerfield officiating with an hour calling prior to the service. Calling at D.O.
