James A Butler, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on April 24, 2022. Born on June 30, 1943, in Hayti, Missouri, he was a son of the late James E and Letticia (nee Cunningham) Butler. He is survived by his children, Alicia King, Kimberly King, Jimmy (Debbie) Butler, Richard King, Echo (Jason) Peterson, and adopted daughter Jessica Dion; Many grandchildren, and great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Prescott, and Terrie Knight; brothers, Allen, Donald, Jeffrey, and Michael Butler, Harold, Roger, and Robert Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shalah Butler. He also had lots of yard children. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne.
