James J. Clark, 85, lost his fight with cancer on January 25, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 13, 1933 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late John J. and Marie (VerMeer) Clark. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for many years. Jim loved to watch all sports and spend time with his family and loved his country music. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Dorothy (Collins) Clark; daughters, Patty (Dave) Wolfe, Pam Aho, and Cheryl (Tony) Mayles; grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Wolfe, Sarah (Larry) Ruiz, Paul (Kelsey) Belzak, Michael Belzak, Elliott Aho, and Melissa Aho; great- grandchildren Roland Ruiz and Luke Belzak; and sisters Janet Steen and Virgina Smith. He was preceded in passing by his son, Rick Clark; and brother Tom Clark. Funeral services are to be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 1 pm at Advantage Funeral Home 2403 E. Wallen Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825 with visitation two hours prior. Burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery. We would like to thank Parkview Hospice for their loving care and support for Jim.
