James Blaine Hudson

James B. Hudson, 77, passed away February 17, 2025, at his home in Leo, IN. He was born November 7, 1947, in Auburn, IN, the son of the late Hubert and Iris (neé Jackson) Hudson. Jim graduated from Eastside High School, Butler, IN, in 1966. He had 46 years of dedicated service at Sechler’s Pickles in St. Joe, IN.

Jim enjoyed both watching and playing basketball and was a die-hard Indiana University Basketball Fan. He enjoyed playing tennis and was an excellent poker player.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hudson of Leo, IN; daughters, Kimberly (Ryan) Waugh of Fort Wayne, IN; Kristen (Timothy) Nelson of Brownsburg, IN; grandchildren, Makayla Waugh of Indianapolis, IN; Aiden Waugh of Fort Wayne, IN; Samuel Nelson of Cincinnati, OH; Andrew Nelson, Katelynn both of Brownsburg, IN; siblings, Ford Hudson of Butler, IN; Jeanenne Lothamer of Leo, IN; Cheryl Fetters of Auburn, IN; Jeffrey Hudson of Fort Wayne, IN; Jennifer Jetmore of Fremont, IN; and a sister-in-law, Suzanne Hudson (Jerry Hudson) of Fort Wayne, IN.

Jim was preceded in death by this twin brother, Jerry Hudson; sister, Susan Hudson; and brother-in-law, Norm Lothamer.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 pm Sunday February 23, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation 2 hours prior.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Foundation DeKalb County Fund: St. Joseph River Parks Inc Fund.
