

James Allen Wallace, known to many as "Jim" was born on July 15, 1942 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Bernard and Marie (nee. Linnemeier) Wallace. On Monday March 20, 2023 at the age of 80, with family at his side he passed from this life to live with Christ eternally.
He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at an early age and was a devoted member of Concordia Lutheran Church. After completing high school he served in the US Army and after releasement he became a member of the Army National Guard of Indiana.
Jim married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Sebring on October 19, 1963. They shared a wonderful life together. He was a very devoted husband, faithful to his family and faith. He loved to read, listen to music, sing and watch Westerns on tv. He was a man of few words, but had a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles with his wife and just simply having fun with his family. He never met a stranger.
He was a man of many traits, He worked as a shoe salesman in his early years and later worked for GE (General Electric) and retired from GTE/Verizon after 20 years of service. Jim continued his passion of technology and attended IVY Tech and received his Associate's Degree in Computer Science Programming.
Jim leaves his legacy of compassion and love to his loving wife of 59 years Pamela; sons, Mark (Cassy) Wallace, John (Barb) Wallace and Matthew (Lisa) Wallace; his daughter, Jami (Adam) Hahn, and his 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Wallace.
