James Zehr, 49 passed away December 24, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1988. James was a local painting contractor and owner of James Zehr Painting and Decorating, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. James is survived by his loving wife, Elena M. Zehr of Huntertown, IN; sons Josiah and Manny Soto, mother Carole L Zehr of Fort Wayne, IN; siblings Dan, Brandy, Toby, Travis, Bob, Jay, Mark, Shelly, Leigh, Tina, Lela and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his father Michael Keith Zehr in 1993. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday December 29, 2018 with calling one hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN. Calling also 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday December 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
