CLIFFORD JAY HODSON, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Gulfside Hospice, Zephyrhills, Fla. Born Aug. 19, 1926, in Muncie, Ind., he was a son of the late Ermal and Anna Hodson. He worked for Dana for over 37 years and served proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He also was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church, Elks, Waynedale 739 Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriner, and the American Legion Post 47. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hodson; daughter, Cynthia Waddell of Fishers, Ind; sons, Barry Hodson of Ligonier, Ind. and Mark Hodson of Waukesha, Wis; and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Belle Simerman; and brother, Jack Hodson. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.
