Jean M. Ford

Jean M. Ford, 97, of Indianapolis, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. She was born December 12, 1922 in Monroeville, Indiana, daughter of the late Joe and Pauline Simmers. She retired from Dana Corporation. Jean was a former member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was also a former board member of the American Cancer Society and a member of the Order of the Easter Star. Jean is survived by her grandchildren, Kenneth J. (Brenda) Ford, Jr. of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Aeric) Bouza of Fort Wayne; and great grandchildren, Robert, Madeline, Izabella, and Preston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Ford, Jr.; and son, Kenneth J. Ford, Sr. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior.
