Jennifer “Jen” Lynn Perrington, born on June 30, 1971, in Buffalo, New York, passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 54. A resident of Markle, Indiana, Jennifer was a strong woman who loved her family and friends passionately.
Jennifer dedicated her life to being a homemaker, where her supportive nature and dedication to her family shone brightly. She is survived by her former husband Al Perrington , her daughter, Bridgette Perrington, (James “Gator”) her sons, Alan Perrington Jr. (Nina), Michael Perrington (Gaby) and her fiancé, Bob Dunlap. She also leaves behind two stepsisters, Krista (Scott) Kinal, Deana Weldon, a stepbrother, Curtis Kingston, and six cherished grandchildren. Catherine, Mia, Giovanni, Dean, Liam and Jax.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Decker, her father Norman and her stepfather, David Janiszewski.
In her personal time, Jennifer enjoyed the outdoors and country life, she had a particular fondness of wolves. In her later years she found great joy in being with her dogs and family. She could always be found with phone in hand to save the sweet times she had as “Nona” to her grandbabies.
Jennifer will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life and time of sharing will be 5:00 pm Saturday, October 11, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN. with a gathering starting at 2:00 p.m.
