Jerry Corbin, 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2013 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to the late Gerald and Katherine (Harms) Corbin on September 7, 1938. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked for LOF Glass and was a member of the Glassworkers AFL-CIO union Local 9 for 30 years. Mr. Corbin was a part of the Williams County Sheriff's Posse for seven years. He coached and umpired for WTGSL and USSSA Slow-Pitch Softball for 32 years, and he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by five children; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters; four brothers; and numerous others. He will be missed by all. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., August 31, 2013 at the VFW Hall on Summit St. in Toledo, Ohio with a carry-in meal.
