Jesus “Jesse” Manuel Ramirez, Jr., 40, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona. Born on October 3, 1980 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Jesus Manuel, Sr. and Alma Rosa (Ramos) Ramirez.
Jesse was a very gifted drummer, bass, and guitar player. He also enjoyed photography, especially taking pictures of his puppies. He had a heart for mentoring at-risk youth.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Rachel Ramirez; brother Alex (Sarah) Ramirez; nephews Micah and Malachi Ramirez; puppies Buffy, Willmar, and Luna
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11 AM with calling one hour prior at Sonrise Church, 10125 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne. Calling will also be held Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5-7 PM, also at Sonrise Church. Flowers can be sent to Sonrise church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jesse’s GoFundMe.
