Joe Emrah, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Born in Logansport, Indiana on February 20, 1953, he was a son of the late John and Gillea (Lees) Emrah. He was an avid outdoorsman, from hunting, fishing, boating and scuba diving. Joe had a passion for tinkering with cars, boats, motorcycles and collecting various items along the way. His greatest passion was his family, especially the grandchildren. Joe never knew a stranger and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda (Harrison) Emrah; children, Josh (Tori) Emrah, Tim (Dana) Emrah, Rachel (Derek) Norwalt, Mike (Nikki) Colpetzer and Rich Bolen; grandchildren, Hayden, Sophie, Hannah, Lucille and Lincoln Emrah, Kaelee, Tinley and Evie Norwalt, William and Kate Colpetzer; great-grandchildren, Clyde and Clayton; sister, Chris (Dan) White; and his fur baby, Miss Kitty. A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation beginning at 2:00pm. Contributions in Joe's memory may be made to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary or American Heart Association.
