JOHN W. McKEE, 95, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, 6:11 p.m., at his residence. Born May 26, 1915, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Cecil C. McKee and Estella (Oaks). He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a machinist at GE, retiring after 42 years of service in 1978. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are his sons, Richard (Marilyn) McKee and David (Jackie) McKee; daughter, Susan Murdock; and grandchildren, Diane (Larry) Meade, and Tanya (Robert) Gibbeny. He was also preceded in death bu his first wife, Bernice (Uetrecht); and second wife, Lydia M. (Prange). Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Call also from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Queen of Angels Catholic Church Masses.
