John W. Waltemath, 83, of Fort Wayne went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born on April 30, 1935, a son of the late Charles and Virginia (Orr) Waltemath. He enjoyed a successful career at Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire and began several businesses, including Electric Mobility. He ministered in local churches and in 30 countries, and most recently at St. Joe Community Church, Fort Wayne. He is survived by his sister, Sally (Steve) Beard; children, Julie, Mike, Charles (Jill), and Cathy Waltemath; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was also proceeded in passing by his son, Terry. Memorial service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at St. Joe Community Church, 2900 N. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne with his dear friend, Pastor Greg Byman officiating. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the St. Joe Community Church Missions Fund.
