My deepest sympathies to all of the Keefer family.  Your dad was such a great man and a treasure to anyone who had the honor of knowing him if even for a short while.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences to everyone. We're thinking of you all here in California and sending all of our love and support. Uncle Ed was always such fun when we would visit.  I have so many great memories of laughing and talking with him. He was charming and real and told the best stories.  This evening I looked through the emails we sent to each other since 2010 and have just spent the last few hours reading them all. It's hard to put into words what it meant to me to communicate with him. He was a treasure. I learned so much about the family from him and about my mom and dad.  They loved him so much.  I will miss his spirit. Thanks Uncle Ed for all the good talks and laughs and warmth and love.  I'm sending hugs to each and every one of you.  You will be in my prayers and thoughts.
