Kenneth R. Bargy Sr., 92, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. Born in Ecorse, Michigan, on July 5, 1932, to parents Roy and Agnes (Bashau) Bargy, Kenneth was a beloved husband and father. Kenneth served in the United States Army as Military Police. He was the proud owner of Ken’s Home Repair and partly owned Dolly’s Bargain Box. For 31 years, he drove as a truck driver before his retirement. Kenneth was a past member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Wagner) Bargy; children, Kenneth Bargy Jr., Joanne Dyer, Jackie Cassassa, Joseph Bargy, Ronald Bargy, Faye Rushing, Ray Bargy; bonus children, John Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter; 35 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren – all whom he cherished dearly. Preceded in death are his children, Stella Ball, Regina Coon, and 5 siblings. A funeral service for Kenneth will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11AM at First Baptist Church 1716 Werling Rd, New Haven, IN 46774 with visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to First Baptist Church.
