KENNETH FLETTER SR., 93, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013. He was a barber shop owner; a Indiana State Secretary of The Travelers Protective Association, Indianapolis; and a World War II veteran and Silver Star for Valor and Purple Heart recipient. Surviving are children, Kenneth Fletter Jr. and Barbara Thieme; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchil dren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and brothers, Harold, Leonard, Ralph, Homer, and Wilber. Service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 6750 Coving ton Road, with visitation from noon to 1 p.m.
