Kenneth W. Roe, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Ken was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 8, 1944. Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed spending time coaching his sons in baseball and spending time with family and friends, especially memories made at the lake. Ken also had a passion for gardening and maintaining a beautifully landscaped yard, a talent he readily enjoyed sharing with others. As a man of Faith, it brought him joy when he could spend time in Fellowship with his church family at Fellowship Missionary Church. He is survived by his sons, Kurt (Kimberly), Kyle (Missy), and Khristian Roe; grandson, Kyler Roe; and sister, Paula (Garry) Elliott. Ken was preceded in passing by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Roe; mother, Pauline Roe; brother, William Shepler; and sisters, Laurel Shepler and Dawn Dennis.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to Lutheran Life Villages at Inverness, Eleos Hospice, or Fellowship Missionary Church.
