Larry Anthony Rodriguez Sr.

Larry Anthony Rodriguez Sr., 63, passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Monday, October 11, 2021, after a short illness. Born in Kingsville, Texas, he moved with his parents to the Midwest, settling in Fort Wayne, Indiana, remaining there until his death. Larry worked in retail for 15 years. He loved traveling and visiting new and famous landmarks, and especially visiting his sister in Florida, as well as his brothers in California and Nevada. You could always find him with a camera in his hand during his visits so he could keep and share his memories with everyone as often as possible. Larry is survived by his two sons, Marcus Winfree of Fort Wayne, IN, and Larry Jr., of Kingsville, TX; six grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Velarde of Fort Wayne, Terry Harrell of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Jesse Rodriguez of Richmond, CA, Ronald Rodriguez of Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, J.H. Rodriguez and Julia S. Rodriguez; two brothers, Hector of Fort Wayne, IN, and James of Dallas, GA. A funeral service to honor Larry's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
