LeRoy H. Gerke

LeRoy H. Gerke, 90, of Ft Wayne, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Covington Commons. He was born May 14, 1920 in Ft Wayne. He was owner of Gerke Electric for 50 years and retired in 1985. Surviving are his son, Jim Gerke, of Nipomo, CA; two daughters, Barbara (Buddy) Ray, of Speedway, IN and Debi (John) Treleaven, of Ft Wayne; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister, Marceal Luepke, of Clear Lake, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma M., in 2005. Funeral Service is 11:00am Friday, October 29, 2010 at St Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Rd. with calling 1 hr prior. Visitation is 2-4 & 6-8pm Thursday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Wayne St Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Entombment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
