Louise “Dewey” Gaunt, 94, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Kingston Care in Fort Wayne. She was born to the late Carl and Esther Lotter. She was a 1942 graduate of North Side High School and was proud to be a North Side Redskin. Louise worked for L.S. Ayers for 30 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother. Her life was her family and she loved them dearly. Surviving are her daughters, Martha D. (Bill) Kercheval and Bonnie F. (Bob) Rinearson; five grandchildren, Adam (Laura) Atherton, Rebecca Petrie, Carly Rinearson, Shannon Rinearson, and Alex (Brooke) Rinearson; and six great-grandchildren; and brother Clyde E. (Emily) Lotter. Louise was also proceeded in death by her husband, Mark Wayne Gaunt; son, Mark Edward Gaunt; grandson, Brian Kercheval; brother, Carl S. Lotter; and sisters, Agnes A. Busian and Mary J. Gaunt. Funeral service 1:00 pm, Friday, December 21, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park. Calling 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Friday, December 21, 2018 at D.O.
