Margaret "Margie" J. Johnson

Margaret (Margie) Johnson, 90 of Fort Wayne graced the gates of heaven this Easter Sunday April 1st. Margie, matriarch of the Ramsey family, took loving pride in her family & writing poetry with beautiful penmanship. She contributed kindly to her community as a nursery school teacher, Senior Club leader, Salvation Army volunteer, and board member of her church. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Larry) Ballman; grandchildren, Troy (Ann) Johnson, Tonya (Shawn) Fisher, and Sage Issac; great grandchildren, Charlie Fisher and Kailani Johnson; and a special family friend, David Thompson. She was preceded in passing by husband, Paul Johnson; and son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Trudy Johnson. Funeral service is Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
