Marie Ann (Comer) Schultz, 92, passed away on April 11, 2018 at Park Place Senior Living Center in Fort Wayne. She was born on July 24, 1925 in Wheatfield, Indiana, the daughter of Jack and Katherine (Irmiter) Comer. She married Edward O. Schultz on October 13, 1946. She was a former member of Tri Kappa of Indiana and the Lake Maxinkuckee Association. She and her husband were founding members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Culver, Indiana. She was previously a secretary for Powers Realty and the Culver Marina there. They moved to Fort Wayne in 2005 and attended St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She is survived by her son Timothy (Roberta Kozuch) Schultz of New Buffalo, MI and daughter Renee (Stephen) Gardt of Fort Wayne, granddaughter Kaki (James) McCarthy and great-grandson Jacob McCarthy of Bloomington, MN. She was preceded in death by Edward, her husband of 71 years, her parents, her sister Vera, and great-granddaughter Gabrielle. Private services will be held at a later date with burial at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN. Arrangements by D. O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home.
