Marilyn Jean Harding passed away peacefully on the evening of July 13th, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Eric Harding, and their children: Tracy Kamman (Joe), Amy Kociolek (Steve), Emery Cole (Stephanie), Andrea Gauden (Jim), and Angie Boylan. She was also a grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her joy. Before becoming a full-time homemaker, Marilyn worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and in childcare—careers that reflected her compassionate nature. At home, she poured her energy into raising her children, supporting their activities, and making lifelong memories. She taught her kids how to fish in the ocean using French fries, made a potato salad no one could match, and always treasured chocolate-covered cherries. Marilyn had a love for animals, especially her loyal dog, Sadie, who will miss her dearly. She was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan and often spoke fondly of the time she saw him perform live. Marilyn will be remembered not only for her dedication to her family, but for her sense of humor, honesty, and unmistakable directness. She told it like it was—with love and laughter. She will be greatly missed.
