Marion F. Brown

Marion E. (Feichter) Brown was born on August 17, 1922 in Fort Wayne, IN. She graduated from South Side High School and attended Butler University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She worked in the annuity department at Lincoln National Life for 25 years. After retiring, she volunteered for more than 20 years delivering for Home Bound Meals. She also volunteered at the History Center for many years. She was active with the senior bowling and golf leagues. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and served on the altar guild there.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Brown, her parents, Ferman and Anna (Vireck) Feichter, brother Harold W. (Bud) Feichter and son-in-law Richard Woodard. She is survived by daughters Carol Woodard and Rebecca (Becky) Brown and grandchildren Lynn Ann Woodard and Wesley (Kelly) Woodard and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tues. 11 A.M. Redeemer Lutheran Church May 5, 2015. Friends may call Mon. 2-4 & 6-8 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Wayne St. Chapel and 1 hr. prior to the service at the church on Tues. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Delta Gamma Foundation.
