Marjorie Sue Bennett, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Marjorie was born at her family home on Williams Street in Fort Wayne on June 7, 1932, to the late Harry and Nellie (Grimme) Feaser. She was welcomed into the world by her late siblings, Harry J. Feaser, Paul Feaser, and Dorothy (Feaser) Uhrick. Marjorie graduated from South Side High School in 1950. She then went on to dedicate 38 years to the finance department at General Electric. Marjorie stayed active in her community as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #432. In 2024, she was honored with the OES 50 Year Pin. Marjorie was also a past Treasurer for the Courts of Woodhurst, a position she took great pride in. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her endless enjoyment of card games and her talent for painting. Marjorie is survived by her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Charles W. Bennett and her only child, Gary A. May. Visitation for Marjorie will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. An Eastern Star Service will follow visitation starting at 4:00pm. Afterwards, friends and family are encouraged to continue gathering together until 6:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made out to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana.
