Martin W. Fahlsing, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born on May 28, 1928 to the late Martin and Selma (Helbig) Fahlsing. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Dana after 30 years of service. He belonged to the Dana Camp Club, Dana Sympathy Club, Dana Quarter Century Club, and VFW Post 11314. Surviving family include his wife, Joan Fahlsing; children, Dennis Fahlsing, Kevin (Roseanne) Fahlsing, Kristine (Philip) Zelenka and Rhonda (Fred) Inman; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and sister, Emily Ruch. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his children, Karen and Bryan Fahlsing; granddaughter, Dawn Fahlsing; siblings, Maxine Hegerfeld, Fred, Pauly, and Arthur Fahlsing. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
