Michael had a passion for life, enjoying bowling, auto racing, and softball. He was also a softball umpire. Throughout his career, Michael worked at General Electric, Morrell Motors, Stonhard, Falstaff Brewing Company, Avilla Motor Speedway, Angola Motor Speedway, and as an Ivy Tech teacher.
Michael was a loving father to his son, Michael William Houser and daughter, Monica Marie Gonzalez. He was also a proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Houser.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1PM at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with visitation taking place from 11AM-1PM. Michael will be laid to rest at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
Michael will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
