Mike Keele, 78, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He was born October 9, 1947, in Wolcott, Indiana, son to the late Charles Albert and Lorraine (Schmidt) Keele. Mike worked in the vending business throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, golf, hunting, and watching sports, especially the Cubs, Colts, and IU Basketball. Surviving him are his wife of 58 years, Linda Keele; son, Douglas Keele; daughter, Cindi (Michael) Lyons; grandchildren, Tyler Keele, Zachary Keele, Reenoe Lyons, and Dakota Lyons; great grandchildren, Kaylie Keele, Cameron Keele, Aryanna Hayes, Layla Keele, Max Keele, and James Keele; and siblings, James (Carol) Keele, John (Catherine) Keele, Linda Swick, and Sandy (Tom) Alber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Keele and Richard Keele. Funeral services will take place at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
