Mildred J. Hursh, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at Parkview Hospital. Born Aug. 13, 1930 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leffers and Beatrice (Davis), she was a homemaker and member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Hursh; sons, Michael (Karen) Hursh and Jay (Cyndy) Hursh; daughter, Robin (Don) McGinley; sisters, Eileen Roach and Mary Lou Bodeker; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy, Marjorie, Evelyn, Geraldine, and Helen. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with rosary service at 7 p.m. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
