Nancy J. Ramsey

Nancy “Nana” Ramsey passed away at the age of 56 on April 2, 2021. Nancy was born to Judy Dubuisson on February 14, 1965 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and companion. She enjoyed crossword books, crochet, reading and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She liked to have fun, meet new people, and just enjoy life. Some of her all time favorite moments was taking the grandchildren to the zoo, parks, and skating. She loved Lifetime movies, the tv show “The Jeffersons,” and the daily news. She liked to twirl her hair and lounge in her pajama pants. Her favorite sayings were “You’re good” and “I may be small but I have a big bite.” Nancy was survived by her mother, Judy Dubuisson of Fort Wayne; her children, Bruce Senters, Chris (Carmesha Windmiller), and Brittney (Gregory Weemes) all of Fort Wayne; Twelve grandchildren, Amara, Amara, and Traejen Senters, Justice and Jayceon Bennett, Gregg Jr and Payton Weemes, Landon and Zavier Windmiller, Nehemiah and Makyah Harvard all of Fort Wayne; one great grandchild, Amilia Fields of Fort Wayne. Also left to cherish Nancy’s memories are her sisters, Angie Heffley, Michelle Straley, Nikki (Bob) Cassell; two brothers, Larry Wayne Miller and Shane Straley; and her aunt, Kay Flotow. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was proceeded in death by granddaughter, Abria Zimmerman and sister, Melissa Straley. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, April 9, 2021 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home,1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior.
