He was a student at Woodlan Elementary. Nathaniel especially loved toys of every character! Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, anything on Disney, and SpongeBob SquarePants were his favorites!
Nathaniel is survived by his parents, Christopher and Samantha Cooke (Fort Wayne); his brothers, Benjamin and Malcolm (Fort Wayne); grandparents, Matt and Lisa Hauschild (Fort Wayne), Joey Cooke (Fort Wayne) and Mindy Hood (Coldwater MI); great grandparents, Becky Reed, (Coldwater, MI) David Hood, (Fort Wayne) Onalee Hauschild (Fort Wayne) and Joeseph Cooke Jr. (Fort Wayne); aunts, Taylor and Adam Parsons (Fort Wayne), Jaci Shuff (and Adam) (Fort Wayne); uncles, Tom and Amber Hauschild (Fort Wayne), Mike Hauschild (Fort Wayne) and Bryan Nash (Glenview, IL); and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Charles and Helen Cordes, Ronald Hauschild, Jerry Reed, Mary and Milton Turner; great Aunt Kelly Arnold and great Uncle Tom Cordes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and then from 4:30 pm - 7:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4545 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Nathaniel.
